São Rafael Galleries are pleased to invite you to the Virtual Exhibitions Immersive Winter cycle, opening on the 15th December.

“The Winter’s Tale” exhibition gathers around the Christmas tree several national and international artists: João Freire, Leonor Trindade Sousa, Hossam Dirar, Carlos Teixeira, António Azenha, Fabián Caro Román, Abílio Marcos, Rodolfo M. Costa, Ricardo Gomes, Gulnar Sacoor, Catarina Diaz, Jaime R Ferreira and Marco Gomes. A compliment to the Winter Cycle and a Christmas celebration where the mysteries of Christ by Carlos Teixeira stand out and the magic of the Orient by Hossam Dirar comes to life. And because Jesus was also a migrant, João Freire’s vision is highlighted through watercolor where the artist represents the dilemmas and afflictions of the Mediterranean crossing. A winter of hope, faith and joy. You can also discover many other artists by clicking on the surprise gifts.

“That’s all” exhibition celebrates Réveillon in an elegant atmosphere enhanced by the artworks of contemporary artists Gabriela González Leal, Jean-David Niangoran, Lilly Helja Jonasson, Cecília Acevedo, Yves Badyh and Leonor Trindade Sousa. The exhibition’s concept was inspired by the dramatic vision of the Absurd, the title makes reference to Harold´s Pinter play. This exhibition purports to be the poetry that is to emerge from the concrete and objectified images of the society stage itself, in which the artists are the main actors and spokespersons. A firework of strong images, sensations, with the sound of a surreal violin in the background.

The exhibitions can be visited from the day mentioned above and will be on permanent exhibition.
