On the 4th of June 2022 (Sat.) the São Rafael Galleries opens the exhibition “A Million Squares” which brings together 24 national and international artists at the Centro Cultural de Carnide, in Lisbon. The event will take place within the scope of the International Art and Technology Cycle and will open with a Welcome-Drink at 4:00 pm.

It will be a mixed reality event, with augmented reality projection of the exhibitions In The Skin Of, The BeansTalkers and Midsummer Night’s. On display will be the artists Abílio Marcos, Amélia Monteiro, António Azenha, Carlos Teixeira, Catarina Diaz, Cecília Acevedo, Dulce Carvalho, Fabián Caro Román, Gabriela González Leal, Gulnar Sacoor, Hossam Dirar, Jaime R Ferreira, Jean-David Niangoran, José A. Faraco, João Freire, Kwame Koda, Leonor Trindade Sousa, Lena Silva, Lilly Helja Jonasson, Marco Gomes, Ricardo Gomes, Rodolfo M. Costa, Sílvia Raposo e Vimoc.

The event’s line-up will also feature a live action painting session by Portuguese artist Marco Gomes, a staged reading of a play about the Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh, a video show about the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo by Produções D. Mona, a short film about the Italian painter Caravaggio and the pre-launch of the eco-friendly clothing brand Sfumato that crosses art and fashion.
