The “2nd Fall” is an artwork by the portuguese artist Carlos Teixeira and belongs to a religious series on the nine crucial moments that marked the life of Jesus Christ. This artwork makes reference to the 2nd Fall, and also to the veil of Veronica, known as Saint Veronica of Jerusalem, who met Jesus when he was carrying the cross along the Via Dolorosa towards Calvary.
