The A Million Squares exhibition was inaugurated last June 4th in a mixed reality exhibition, in Lisbon, curated by São Rafael Galleries, on display at the Centro Cultural de Carnide until the 7th of June, within the scope of the International Art and Technology Cycle, in which we had the great pleasure of participating in partnership with Produções D. Mona. We thank everyone who made this Cycle a fantastic moment of socializing and celebrating art and the artist. The Cycle opened with a welcome drink and followed with a fantastic moment of live painting by the artist Marco Gomes. This was followed by the pre-launch of the Contemporary Theater Book and the interpreted readings of the plays Grandma Ganza and The Gospel of Van Gogh. Wonderful moments, followed by the launch of the clothing brand Sfumato in the metaverse. The afternoon ended with the short film 360º Caravaggio and the video show Não Kahlo. We had the great pleasure of having with us throughout this exhibition the artists Dulce Carvalho, Gulnar Sacoor, Ricardo Gomes, Jaime R Ferreira and Marco Gomes, who made this meeting even more special. We also remember all the artists who could not be physically present but were there from the heart: Leonor Trindade Sousa, Kwame Koda, Catarina Diaz, Lena Silva, Abílio Marcos, Amélia Monteiro and Fabián Caro Román. In this exhibition, the viewer is invited to put himself in the skin not only of the artists, through their shared reflections, but also in the skin of what it means to be a woman, to be a man, to be a child, to be an artist, to be from a country, to be from a culture, to be who do you want to be in the modern world?
